NextVision Media was founded by Larry Lockhart, a 20 year marketing and tradeshow veteran. The following is a sampling of events produced by NextVision Media as well as with our partner futuretext

Mobile Web and Application Events:

Mobile Web and Apps World Forum: Our latest series of partner events with CTIA that focus on the mobile web and application ecosystem. The sold-out Las Vegas event in March 2010 drew over 250 professionals from around the world. The next Mobile Web and Apps World forum events are scheduled for October 6th, 2010 in San Francisco and March 22nd, 2011 in Orlando

Mobile Application Stores: The first event in the United States dedicated exclusively to the business of mobile applications. Partner event of CTIA WIRELESS IT & Entertainment San Diego 2009. (Partner with futuretext)

BRIC: Emerging Mobile Markets: This event was held at International CTIA Wireless 2009 in Las Vegas and focused on the enormous mobile opportunities in Brazil, Russia, India and China.  It was the first event of its kind in the United States.

Mobile Web Strategies:  Held annually as a partner event with CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment, this event draws hundreds of attendees from around the world from companies like Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, PayPal., Nokia, Ericsson, The Weather Channel, Adobe and more.

Mobile Web Megatrends:  This unique mobile web event was held in Bekeley, California September 2008. (Partner event with futuretext)

Mobile Web Americas: The United States first ever mobile web event, Mobile Web Americas drew visitors from around the world in September of 2007. This event evolved into the even larger Mobile Web Strategies

The Mobile Adult Content Congress: The MACCongress is the premier event for technology and content professionals from around the world to discuss mature content delivery and mobile web access. Since 2006 this annual event has drawn delegates from over forty countries, giving perspectives on opportunities and challenges from around the world.

 

Prepaid Events:

The Pay As You Go Mobile Summit: The first ever conference and tradeshow dedicated to the prepaid wireless industry, this event ran from 2003 until it was sold in 2006.

The Prepaid Markets Expo: The aforementioned partnership reulted in The Prepaid Markets Expo, considered the premier event for the prepaid industry.  Larry was founder and director of the event from 2002 until he sold his controlling position in 2006.

Prepaid Card Expo: This conference and exposition was held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York October 11-13, 2001 and drew 3,000+ attendees from around the world. The event drew the interest of one of the worlds largest conference organization who proposed a partnership for future events.

Larry was key in the launch of Telecom Business Magazine and Telecom Business Expo which were semi annual events held on the east coast at Jacob Javits Center in New York City and west coast in California from 1996-2000, as well as the United State's first ever Prepaid Wireless conference in Washington D.C. The company was sold to to a major conference company in 2000.

Larry was also co-founder of The Prepaid Press, the prepaid telecommunication industry’s leading publication as well as founded The Prepaid Markets, the industry’s #1 rated news website.
